Badges: |

Staff and Volunteer's:
Event Staff and Volunteer's will receive a convention badge. You are
required to wear the badge at all times. Remember you represent
the event and it's organizer's and we expect you to conduct
yourself professionally at all times. Badges are
non-transferable. Do not give your badge to a friend or
people outside the convention when you leave. Also keep in
mind that security will be spot-checking badges against ID's. |

Attendee's:
Attendee's will NOT be issued convention badges. All guests will
receive a ticket at the ticket booth. Proceed through entry gate at which time
all attendees will receive
a "wristband". All attendee's must pass threw security's
weapons check.
Please ensure the "wristband" is visible at all times. If you
are asked to show your wristband by security please do so, failure
to will result in removal from the convention area. |

Code of Conduct: |

Attendees must respect
common sense rules for public behavior, personal interaction,
common courtesy, and respect for private property. Harassing or
offensive behavior will not be tolerated. Tulare Sci-Fi Con
reserves the right to revoke, without refund, the badge or
admission of any attendee not in compliance with this policy.
Persons finding themselves in a situation where they feel their
safety is at risk or who become aware of an attendee not in
compliance with this policy should immediately locate a member
of security, or a staff member, so that the matter can be
handled in an expeditious manner. |

Costume Weapons
Policy: |
. |
No
functional weapons are allowed at Tulare Sci-Fi Con
Simulated or costume weapons are allowed
as a part of your costume, subject to prior approval by security
and compliance with the following: |

All costume weapons must be
inspected at the Weapons Check Desk in Before entering
the hall. (location subject to change). |
• |
All costume weapons must conform to
state and federal law. |
• |
Projectile costume weapons must be
rendered inoperable. |
• |
Costume swords must be tied to your
costume in such a way that they can't be drawn. |
• |
After each person's costume weapon
has been checked, it will be tagged by security, and you
will be given a wristband to wear to designate that your
weapons have been checked. |
• |
Security will escort you to
the security station for inspection if your costume
weapon is not tagged.
If you do not want to have your
costume weapons inspected or tagged, or if you are not
willing to comply with these policies, please do not
bring your costume weapons to TSFC. |

Exhibit Hall: |

No Handcarts,
Trolleys, Rolling Luggage, or Oversized Strollers in the
Exhibit Hall
Please be aware that, due to
safety reasons, no handcarts, trolleys, rolling luggage,
or oversized strollers are allowed in the Exhibit Hall. |

No Strollers Allowed
in the Programming Areas
By order of the fire marshal,
strollers are not allowed in any of the programming
areas. Stroller parking is located in a designated area
in the exhibit hall. Parking will be free of charge and
provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please
note: TSFC will not provide security for unattended
strollers. |

No Video or Audio
Recording of Movie and TV Panels
No video or audio recording of any
of the movie and television panels is allowed. The
footage shown in these panels are exclusives brought to
us by the studios and networks (if applicable). Please
respect their rights and allow us to continue to show
this type of material to our attendees. |

General Rules: |

No Smoking:
No smoking is allowed at any
Convention sponsored event at any time and in any
location. This policy includes the Exhibit Hall or any
other location where a special event might occur that is
Convention-sponsored. You are welcome to step outside to
smoke in designated smoking areas only, but please be
considerate of others when you do. This policy is in
place not only for the comfort of attendees but also to
comply with Tulare City ordinances prohibiting smoking
at public events. Please comply with this policy;
noncompliance may result in being ejected from the
convention. |

No Pets Allowed:
If you have pets, including
iguanas, parrots, boa constrictors, or other nonhuman
critters, please leave them at home. The Exhibit Hall
will not allow animals into the building, except for
service animals. |

No Paging:
Please keep in mind that there
will be no personal pages over the P. A. system. Set a
time and place to meet with your family and friends and
communicate with them via text or phone when necessary. |
